The Plan

Over the next ten years my wife and I will be researching and visiting various countries around the globe to assess their value as a retirement destination. We wish to share our research with others and solicit their views and opinions. We intend to retire and implement our plan in approximately 10 years(2022)when I'm 54, and after our kids have completed college and are successfully launched into their worlds. Our income will be based on stock dividends, Prosper.com payouts, and the rental income from our two current properties. We do not intend to settle in one country, but rather spend 10 years exploring the globe, living 3-6 months in a country, then traveling to the next while on a budget. Eventually settling in the country that entices our return.

We will share our experiences, findings, as well as our investment strategies throughout this blog.

If you are an American expat, experienced traveler or if you have sound investment advice and wish to provide an article or link we will welcome your input.
